McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is an acute-care, 114-bed hospital located in Springfield, Ore., serving the Lane County area. The hospital provides a broad range of services, including Intensive Care/Coronary Care, Pulmonary Medicine, Oncology, Da Vinci Technology Surgery, CT Scan, MRI, Maternity, Reproductive Services, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Rehabilitation and a 24-Hour Emergency Department that is a designated Level III Trauma Center. McKenzie-Willamette is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO). Description Participate and assist with diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures, including cardiac and peripheral vascular angiograms. Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating all aspects of patient care during angio procedures. Utilize clinical and cognitive skills while performing principle duties of the following roles; monitoring, circulation, or scrub nurse. Requires knowledge of cardiac rhythems and hemodynamic waveforms. Qualifications Prefer previous cathlab experience. Minimum of two years in a related critical care specialty area (ICU, CCU, ED, etc.) ACLS required. Ability to function efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere and respond to emergency situations that may arise during high risk procedures. Requires to be on-call at least one weekend every two months from 7am to 7pm. Prefer other occasional availability.
