Kent General Hospital has a 21-bed Emergency Department and averages 43,000 patients annually. Milford Memorial Hospital has an 11-bed Emergency Department and averages 22,000 patients annually. Kent General Hospital and Milford Memorial Hospital are affiliated with Bayhealth Medical Center.

Physicians must be residency-trained or board-certified in Emergency Medicine. There is physician extender coverage at both facilities.
