Physical Therapist Assistant

• Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist.

• Reviews the initial evaluation for each patient as observed by the supervising physical therapist.

• Documents and monitors patients response to treatments per department standards.

• Implement physical therapy treatments or establishes new goals with the physical therapist

• Documents any change in a patients ability to perform activities or exercises.

• Provides home exercise programs to the patient as documented in the patient chart.

• Provides equipment or assistive devices as needed by the patient or documented in their chart.

Requirements:
Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant and three months of previous experience is required. Qualified candidate will have New York State license or eligibility. The demonstrated ability to provide a caring environment in courteous manner is required.
