Description: Seeking a full-time, infectious disease specialist to serve in a clinical, academic and administrative role.
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Excellent clinical skills in internal medicine and infectious diseases.
2. Critical thinking skills.
3. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work collaboratively with other clinicians and administration.
4. M.D. or D.O. degree with advanced training and Board Certification (or eligibility) in Infectious Diseases.
5. Desire to establish permanent practice in the community within a group.

DESCRIPTION:
Well-established, highly-respected practice looking for a third associate.. This opportunity offers 100% consultative Infectious Disease practice with inpatient/outpatient responsibilities; Internal Medicine patient care or Internal Medicine on-call coverage not required but available if interested. There is significant outpatient HIV care involved in the practice. Infectious Disease on-call schedule will be 1:4 - 1:4. Inpatient consultative care provided by the practice to three major hospitals located within 5 miles of each other. The practice also provides consultation for infection control services to the hospitals. Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students are available. Support for basic and clinical research exists.

This is an employed position with Advanced Bay Area Medical Associates, a well established Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine private practice. The position offers a competitive salary plus percentage of revenue and a comprehensive benefit package including 4 weeks of vacation, paid CME, health insurance and 401K match.
