Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent work experience considered. Minimum of two years systems analysis/design. Knowledge of healthcare operations preferred. Organized self-starter. Must be able to work independently. Clinical Pharmacy application preferred. Pharmacist preferred but not required. Pharmacy Meditech experience required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Must have strong analytic ability. Must work well independently or in a team setting. This pharmacy analyst position works with the statewide Pharmacy directors to develop IT strategy and solutions for the Pharmacy Dept as well as pharmacy-related applications. They work with the pharmacy staff to develop system requirements, modify software, test changes, help with training and communication of system modifications and provide change management. This position will share 24x7 pharmacy support for pharmacy-related questions and issues from system end users.
