Description:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
at the University of Virginia is recruiting an additional
full-time faculty member in the Division of General
Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Following successful recruitment of this individual, the Division will have 7 physicians. The candidate must possess an M.D or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school. He/she must be certified or an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Each candidate must have strong clinical skills, enthusiasm for medical education, and an interest in clinical research. Previous academic experience is preferred, as are skills in minimally invasive surgery. Faculty rank will be commensurate with background and experience. This is a non-tenured position that will remain open until filled. The Medical Center, School of Medicine, and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology have excellent academic reputations, and all are highly ranked nationally.
