The Clinical Information Systems/IT department is an integral lifeline to the Swedish operation, and is currently seeking an Enterprise Applications Systems Analyst - Interfaces and Integration.

On a day to day basis, the analyst designs, configures, supports and maintains vendor-supplied software and integrated computer data systems, either independently or as a team member. Core responsibility includes the integration of software across multiple businesses and support systems.

With general guidance, this position is responsible for designing and implementing medium complexity system solutions across multiple departments and serves in key technical roles throughout the vendor-supplied software lifecycle. Analyzes business requirements and develops design specifications and test plans to meet business requirements. Configures software to meet design specifications and develops implementation plans for vendor provided software. Provides ongoing support and maintenance for production systems.

Acts as liaison with operations community to ensure continuing responsiveness of applicable system software user requirements. Identifies, evaluates, tailors, and directs the implementation of vendor-supplied software packages. Ensures the maintenance of adequate software systems documentation. Provides technical assistance and training to users of systems, with little or no instruction or mentoring. Able to come on campus during off-shift hours and provide after hours call support required.

Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. An equivalent 1:1 education / relevant work experience may substitute for each year of college not completed. Formal job training in vender-software configuration may be substituted for each year of college not completed. Some examples of vendor-supplied software include PeopleSoft, Seibel, SAP, Nuance and Epic. This equivalency is in addition to what is required in the Experience and Skills section.
• A minimum of two years systems analyst experience with at least one year serving as an active participant in the successful completion of one go-live or upgrade implementing vendor software or solving production problems in a time-constrained environment.
• Skilled Information Technology professionals strongly preferred.
• Prior job experience configuring vendor-supplied software such as PeopleSoft, Seibel, Epic, SAP, or Nuance.
• Prior job experience working with large data sets and database applications such as SQL or Oracle.
• Knowledge of all phases of the software development or lifecycle for both custom and vendor-supplied software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and colleagues to analyze problems and propose recommended solutions that meet both business and technical needs.
• Ability to support and train Physicians on the use of Nuance - Dragon with the EPIC applications is preferred.
• Experience with Nuance Enterprise Dictaphone, Powerscribe and Dragon is a plus.
• Experience with Quadramed Quantim and general medical coding knowledge is a plus.
