Hospital is a level one-trauma center. Located in Central
New England. Hartford is 25 min from Springfield, 1
hour from the beautiful CT/RI shoreline and 1.5 hours
from Boston and New York City.
Current CT RN
license required. BSN required. MSN required. Must
have experience in the care of Cardiac Medical Surgical
patients. This position promotes practice standards,
based on appropriate research, to ensure optimal patient/population
outcomes. Maximizes the potential of the group/individual
learner by evaluating the effectiveness of instruction
and modalities. This is done by observing learners,
testing, simulations, documentation and patient outcomes.
Identifies, implements, and evaluates various strategies
to enhance use of research-based findings by individuals
in area of responsibility.In this role of Nurse Educator
in our Magnet facility your primary area of responsibility
will be for a busy medical/surgical cardiac units,
including our 8 Angioplasty suite. Other patient populations
include Congestive Heart Failure(CHF), chest patient
and cardiomyopathy, Angina, MI and Arrhythmia patients.
Facilitates training, education and development by
assessing, planning, developing, implementation, coordination
and evaluation of projects and programs for staff,
facility, patient populations and the community.
