Description: OR Nurse Manager
This position has been created by the promotion of the previous Nurse Manager to the position of Director or Surgical Services. This department is highly complex area that requires exceptional leadership skills to effectively manager the expectations of a large team consisting of surgeons, anesthesiologist, and nursing staff. The Nurse Manager must understand and support recruitment and retention activities and exhibit a positive, proactive and creative style of management in support of these activities. The Nurse Manager must also have compentencies building and operating with a set budget, ability to interpret statistics and productivity reports. There are twelve operating suites.

Reporting directly to this position are one Assistant Manager and five Coordinators. These are approximately 100 FTE's employees in this department.

3-5 years leadership experience
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Good analytical ability to interpret data
Demonstrated ability to implement and support change
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
