Health has exclusively retained Cejka Search to recruit
their new Chairman of Neurology for the system. This
role also will be the system Co-Director of the Neuroscience
Service Line with Steve Toms, MD, formerly of the Cleveland
Clinic, and a noted Neurosurgeon and leader of the
new Brain Tumor Institute at Geisinger.
Ideal
candidates for this Chairman role will have successfully
demonstrated their leadership acumen in building and
expanding a department of highly skilled neurologists.
This health system leader will be innovative in approaches,
further developing programs in rural telestroke initiatives,
Epilepsy, Movement Disorder, ALS, MS, Dementia, neuromuscular
diseases, EMG, EEG, and population based research and
more. The organization is eager to start a neurology
residency program and eventually a neurosurgery fellowship
program to enhance the Neuroscience Service Line.
This
outstanding opportunity is open to board certified
general neurologists and all neurology subspecialists.
Recruiting outstanding neurologists to this burgeoning
practice at the Danville and Wilkes-Barre campuses
is a priority.
Northeast Pennsylvania has excellent

offer. Located in the scenic Wyoming Valley of Northeastern
