Description:
Joint Commission Resources is a global, publishing
and consulting affiliate of The Joint Commission. We
are seeking an Associate Director, Standards Development
& Interpretation, to join our team in the Chicago
area.
You will provide direction and leadership
to work groups, task forces and committees participating
in the development and re-development of accreditation
standards. Manage the process for the interpretation
of standards for all international accreditation and
certification programs and represent Joint Commission
International with domestic and international accreditation
bodies and government agencies. Serve as technical
and content support for the International Accreditation
and Certification Program, staff and Board committees.
Master's
degree in management or a clinical field; healthcare
professional with 5 or more years experience in a clinical
or administrative role with demonstrated management
progression including 3 years managing teams. Knowledge
of The Joint Commission and Joint Commission International
initiatives such as ORYX, patient safety goals, adverse
event reporting and public white papers. 15-25 % travel.
