Position Profile
The director of cardiovascular services is a newly created position with strategic and operational responsibility three suite lab, a 25-bed telemetry unit, cardio-pulmonary services, cardiac rehab, as well as the chest pain observation area. Responsibilities include strategic planning, service line growth, operational improvement, all human resource functions, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. The position will be responsible for approximately 100 FTEs with the assistance of three direct reports and is accountable directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Qualified Candidates will be experienced service line leaders with a passion for building a robust service line and developing a strong, high performing team. Clinical competence is desired, as is the demonstrated ability to improve operational performance. Strong relationship and communication skills are a must. Bachelors in a related field required; Master's prepared candidates preferred. Candidates with experience in cardio-pulmonary services or the cath lab are ideal.
