Description:
Patient care manager of two Endoscopy units
as part of an academic hospital and health care system.
Management
of operations of assigned patient care unit. Assumes
24 hour accountability for planning, supervising and
evaluating the care of patients and Nursing practice.
Involves: Fiduciary Responsibility, Supervision,
Conflict Resolution, Management of resources, Evaluation
of Staff Performance, Customer Service Communication,
Problem Solving, Delegation, Establishes unit standards,
policies and procedures
Preferred Education / Experience
BSN plus 36 months experience as RN Required preferably
in Medical/Surgical, Endoscopy, Outpatient Diagnostic
Services and/or Critical Care. Prior Endoscopy, 1 yr
management exp, and MSN pref.
