Description:
This position has responsibility for the overall
management and general operations of the consolidated
lab operation of the Guthrie Clinic
Main Function:
In partnership with Chairman of Pathology Department
and the Vice President of Medical Service develops
the strategic direction for the consolidated laboratory
operation of Guthrie Health. This position has responsibility
for the overall management and general operations of
the consolidated lab operation of the Guthrie Clinic
(Sayre Campus and Corning Regional Office), Robert
Packer Hospital, Troy Community Hospital, as well as
administrative oversight of the Corning Hospital in
partnership with the Corning Hospital President. This
position has a matrix reporting relationship with key
administrative personnel at RPH, TCH, and CH.
Education:
Bachelor's degree is required; an appropriate graduate
degree is strongly preferred (MBA or MHA). A Medical
Technologist degree would be a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of five years of clinical lab management -
with demonstrated skills in strategic planning, financial
management, and operations management. Experience in
a multi-site operation or other complex environment
preferred.
