Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette is currently in search of a weekend Clinician for our Southeast Portland Health Center. Our business is providing, promoting, and protecting access to reproductive and sexual health care for the women, men, and teens that need it the most-regardless of their background. We are looking for a state licensed professional (Nurse Practitioner) to provide a variety of skilled client care to patients in a clinical setting. This includes gynecological exams, screening and treatment, counseling, contraceptive advice and prescriptions, detection and treatment of vaginitis and STI's, follow-up patient consultations and other medical conditions as per health center guidelines and client needs. This position provides an opportunity to utilize cultural expertise and experiences working with culturally diverse communities. The candidate must support the mission of Planned Parenthood and be searching for an opportunity to work in a dedicated team environment where staff and management alike share common values including respect for one another. Requirements for this position are: • Education commensurate with state statute licensure requirements for practice capacity. • Current DEA license or ability to obtain DEA License. • National Certification or a current Medicare number. • Eligible and able to pursue prescriptive authority with current licensure. • Professional, positive attitude with proven ability to contribute effectively to highly functioning work teams. This position is 30 hours/week, salary DOE. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability and 403(b), paid time off that starts at 23 days per year and 8 paid holidays.
