Job Details: General Surgeon - ATL area - 1 in 4 Call

Description: Group employment-General Surgeon-Atlanta Area-Optional Vascular and Thoracic
Charming Atlanta bedroom community 1/2 hr. from metro area
High growth county right outside of Metro-Atlanta located 45 miles from the ATL airport and 30 miles to ATL area. High quality of life, excellent schools, new golf and gated communities. Hospital is 1/2 way between ATL and Athens. Great place to live, high quality of life with incredible access to just about anything you need within 1/2 hr drive in either Athens or the Atlanta area. The North Georgia Mountains and the beaches of Coastal Georgia are an easy drive.

NEW HOSPITAL UNDER CONSTRUCTION. It is not just on the drawing boards, it is actually being built to accommodate the huge growth of this high growth area. This is one of the fastest growing counties in the Southeast. Reasons; proximity to ATL, low cost of living, development, new schools, stable industry, hub for a variety of transportation in and out of Atlanta by rail, private airport, organized parks and recreation, abundance of recreation locally, nearby lake Sinclair, access to prestigious golf resorts, safe, low traffic, close to University of Georgia, 1/2 to the largest shopping mall in the Southeast 'The Mall of Georgia', and then the city of Atlanta is less than a 45 minute drive to enjoy world class entertainment.

Employment opportunity. Our area has already been identified as needing an additional general surgeon to join the group. On top of this, one of the existing surgeons recently left the practice to relocate to another location. All the while, our anchor surgeon has always found himself extremely busy practicing a very broad scope of general surgery including: general abdominal, GI scopes, a variety of peripheral vascular and thoracic cases. He also does a variety of other bread and butter surgical procedures in an outpatient setting as needed.

Recruiting candidates who seek a busy broad general surgical practice.. Optional colonoscopies. In addition, you can team up with one of the existing physicians to do vascular thoracic cases. A special need exists to develop plastics; breast, rhinoplasty, and facial plastics.

Or if you prefer - one can practice bread and butter general abdominal surgery.

Huge need. Call will be one in four. It goes without saying that with a brand new hospital will be brand new inpatient surgical facilities and outpatient surgery.

Financial Offer
- A very competitive base salary offered plus bonus based upon individual productivity. Sign-on bonus, benefit package, and relocation expenses. The range is based upon experience and the surgical skill set that you desire to practice.
