Description: Michigan Heart, one of the nation's premier providers of cardiovascular care, seeks a Chief Operating Officer.
Michigan Heart is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to join this respected cardiovascular group practice. Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan Heart, is a leader in comprehensive cardiovascular care with 37 physicians covering all the subspecialties of cardiovascular medicine. This independent, physician-owned clinic has eight locations throughout Southeast Michigan.

Michigan Heart is affiliated with the region's finest hospital systems and committed to outstanding medicine, education, training, and patient care. The executive selected for this newly created role will optimize all operating activities in order to efficiently deploy resources and enhance each patient's experience. The COO will have direct oversight of four Managers and will report to the CEO.

The successful candidate will offer:
• A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and significant management experience in a group practice, preferably cardiology.
• A demonstrated record of improving processes and efficiency in a group practice setting.
• The ability to forge effective relationships with physicians and other professional staff.
• Intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent communication skills.
