St. Edward Mercy Sleep Center is seeking a board eligible and/or certified Pulmonary/Sleep trained physician to act as Medical Director for the Sleep Center. The sleep center is a fully accredited comprehensive 4-bed facility equipped with the latest medical technology. State-of-the-art equipment and highly trained staff combined with luxurious accommodations, provide the right setting to accurately diagnose sleep disorders. St. Edward Mercy Sleep Center provides diagnostic services for more than 700 patients a year.

St. Edward Mercy Health Center is a general acute-care 343 bed full-service hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas which serves a population of over 430,000. In addition, St. Edward is also part of the Mercy SafeWatch Electronic ICU Program. Mercy Safewatch provides monitoring of more than 390 ICU beds across the Sisters of Mercy Health System. The Command Center, the largest in the U.S. is based at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Plus in 2010, St. Edward will begin using EPIC software system which will allow access to patient information with the same chart for inpatient and outpatient services. Epic's electronic medical records provide for Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) and improves both patient safety and patient outcomes.
