Job Details: Nurse Midwife

Description: BJHCHS Inc is seeking to hire a Nurse Midwife to join our ob-gyn department. Come and enjoy this beautiful coastal area also known as "the low country" for its gentle and serene lifestyle.
You will be minutes away from cultural events, golfing, tennis, fishing and several other water sports. And what's more, you will be minutes away from beautiful Hilton Head Island and historic Savannah GA. Our eight (8) health centers are located in Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton counties, between Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA.

Duties Performed
Provides professional care for patients with obstetric and gynecologic needs. Assists patients in labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care. Ensures safety and health of mother and child and identifies need for additional care. Must be a registered nurse and familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works in conjunction with practicing physicians.

Requirements:
A. Experience: At least one (1) year of service
B. Education: Graduate of an approved nurse midwifery program
C. Certification: Proof of certification
D. Licensure: South Carolina license
E. 40hr work week plus some calls with physician back-up
F. Hospital privileges required
