Under limited
supervision and assistance the Sleep Tech performs
procedures and diagnostic testing on adolescent, adult
and geriatric patients in a non-acute care setting.
-A
minimum of one (1) year experience in a medically based
allied health field or previous on-the-job training
and experience in a Sleep Lab.
-Completion of a
Polysomnographic Certification Program (one or two
year program). Background and experienced in a medical
field with emphasis on diagnostic testing on adolescent,
adult and geriatric patients in a non-acute care setting.
-Certified
by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Washington
State preferred. Current AHA (American Heart Association)
CPR required. Must obtain ACLS certification within
6 months of date of hire
