The Director of Claims/Insurance/Legal Services / Corporate Compliance is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and implementing an inter-disciplinary hospital-wide, Multi-lines Claims, Insurance and Legal Services Program. The Director of Claims/Insurance/Legal Services has primary Administrative responsibilities for the Claims/Insurance and Legal Services Programs with a focus on minimizing potential exposure to risks and hazards within the facility/organization, resolving claims and legal disputes, protecting the organizations assets through cost effective insurance programs and risk transfer, retention and financing techniques, and developing system and programs necessary to reduce costs of risks. Bachelors degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance or equivalent experience. Experience in health care delivery systems with focus on risk management, claims, insurance and legal services. At least three (3) years of risk management, claims, insurance, legal experience and two years of management/supervisory experience required.
