EMERGENCY MEDICINE or FAMILY
MEDICINE PHYSICIAN - Worland, WY.
We have an employed
practice opportunity for a BC/BE Emergency Medicine
or Family Medicine Physician to join Washakie Medical
Center - part of Banner Health, one of the largest
not-for-profit health care systems in the US. Washakie
Medical Center is a JCAHO accredited 25-bed hospital
with critical access designation (Level III Trauma).
ACLS, ATLS certification required. BLS, PALS and NALS
desirable. This is a well-equipped facility with state
of the art updates including semi-private and private
rooms, rehab center, birthing suites, comprehensive
radiography and fluoroscopy suites, lab, ER, 16 slice-CT,
3-D Ultrasound and more. Approximately 4,000 ED visits
annually (11 patients per day). Will work 104 shifts
per year (24-hour shifts 8am-8am). Typically, this
amounts to two 24-hour shifts per week and you do not
have to be on-site for the entire shift. Additional
compensation is offered for picking up shifts in excess
of 104. Service area of 6,984. Worland serves as a
National Health Service Corp Site: HIPSA SCORE: 16
(Eligible for educational loan repayment for qualified
candidates)
