We are currently searching for energetic, customer-focused Pharmacy Technicians to join our Pharmacy team!

The Pharmacy Technician performs technical duties, under direct supervision of attending pharmacist, involving compounding and dispensing of medications, and preparation of sterile products including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition solutions, maintaining the drug inventory and patient records.

Required Job Qualifications include:
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or GED required.

EXPERIENCE:
2 years of related experience strongly preferred

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to: (1) work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods; (2) work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff; (3) handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule; (4) set priorities and solve problems; (5) respond to emergency requests; (6) communicate effectively (oral and written); (7) physically operate equipment used for the job including computers and technology; (8) Demonstrates the ability to accurately perform algebraic equations.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
National Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) preferred, but not required.
