Job Details: Menu Service Dietitian and Consultant

The Menu Service Dietitian and Consultant full-time position will be responsible for managing our computerized menu services. The service provides cycle menus to a wide variety of health care facilities and institutions.

Successful applicant must:
- Have a solid background of dietetics in the long term care industry
- Be knowledgeable in the various long term care and institutional regulations and requirements for dining as well as nutritional requirements
- Have a good background in food safety, food sanitation, HACCP and food protection. State FSSMC required.
- Possess strength in quantity cooking and various types of dining services
- Possess strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Will be communicating with state and federal regulatory offices, facility owners/administration, dietary managers and dietitians, and food preparation personnel.
- Be a self starter and able to plan and complete projects according to time schedules
-Serve as liaison with other staff dietitians in the field and on occasion may be asked to provide on-site consulting services.
-Minimum 5 years post internship experience
-Minimum 3 years experience in long term care
-Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in nutrition and dietetics or a recognized equivalent - with successful completion of an Accredited Dietetic Internship Program.
