Location: Wawa, Ontario
Description: Lady Dunn Health Centre - New 28 bed facility located in a friendly, water front, self sufficient small community just 2.5 hours north of Sault Ste. Marie, ON.

Hours: Part time Position - 20/week plus additional shifts/hours as required. Currently Monday to Friday dayshift with some standby duty evenings and weekends. Competitive salary.
Full time Position: - 37.50/week, currently Monday to Friday dayshift with equal share of standby duty evening and weekends. Competivie Salary

Pay Rate: In accordance with ONA collective agreement, allied health unit.

Bonus: $1600.00 taxable living allowance after each of 1st 2nd and 3rd year of service.

Education & Registration: Must be a graduate from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology Program and either currently have or be eligible for CMLTO registration and obtain registration with the CMLTO within a three month period. Currently certified in Transportation of Dangerous goods or willing to complete course within training period.

Experience: 2 years minimum experience is preferred.

Requirements & Duties: Must be able to effectively organize work flow by priority and need, performing routine and specialized test procedures. Must demonstrate technical proficiency, effective interpersonal skills, proven problem solving skills with the ability to recognize problems, identify the cause and create alternative solutions and demonstrate commitment to continuing education. Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
