Leading the practice of nursing and managing care on a unit, you'll obtain information and help develop of plans of care, act as consultant for staff and educate patients/families, help manage patient transitions, and oversee, direct and provide holistic, culturally competent, quality, cost-effective, evidence-based care. You'll also develop/evaluate department goals, ensure compliance, and monitor performance.

Our ideal candidate has:
* a bachelor's degree in nursing
* DC RN licensure
* 3-5 years' acute care experience in an appropriate specialty
* clinical maturity and expertise
* excellent interpersonal, negotiating, communication and team-building skills
* the ability to respond to emergencies, work in stressful situations and collaborate with others
* specialty-area certification preferred
