Position Description: The Clinical Endoscopy Specialist will increase and enhance the sales and marketing of Olympus EndoTherapy products by providing clinical knowledge and technical expertise. Requirements And Responsibilities: * Provide clinical and technical expertise and on-site training and support regarding the installation of customer products. * Establish and maintain relationships with physicians, nursing management and other personnel at the customer level. * Troubleshoot, identify, and correct any product-related adjustments, functions, or problems and initiate clinical support, repair or other appropriate response to any issue beyond the Specialist's clinical expertise. * Support internal and external education courses and activities related to the clinical usage of EndoTherapy products including EndoTherapy Sales Representative training. * Participate at meetings, shows, and conventions as required, to demonstrate and promote EndoTherapy products. * Support the clinical evaluation of new product development. * Develop and maintain effective knowledge of competitive products and provide input to management. * Work closely with the EndoTherapy sales team to identify new customer opportunities. * Routinely communicate with the sales teams and managers on activities and obstacles. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: (Only qualified candidates will be considered) * Certification as a GI Technician or a Registered Nurse and maintenance of all certifications and/or registrations is required. * A minimum of 3 years of clinical ERCP experience is necessary. * Business experience in product demonstration, installation, and usage instruction is preferred. * Knowledge of Gastroenterology and/or Pulmonology specialties is a major advantage. * The ability to effectively communicate and educate physicians, nursing, and sales personnel is vital. * The flexibility to travel is required.
