Description:
Palo Alto Medical Foundation, a non-profit,
community-based, multi-specialty outpatient clinic,
seeks an experienced PA for Orthopaedic Surgery.
In
close association and collaboration with the supervising
physicians, the PA will be responsible for taking complaint
specific histories, doing physical assessments, assisting
with surgery, attending to the post operative and discharge
needs of orthopedic patients, and triaging and seeing
same-day acute injuries.
Requirements include
current CA PA license; CPR certification; excellent
interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication
skills; and the ability to work effectively in a fast
paced, team oriented environment. Experience with surgical
assisting preferred.
