Seeking Experienced Emergency Nurse Manager
for Urgent Care Center
The Nursing Manager is responsible for the clinical and financial outcomes of the Urgent Care Center. The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the unit, including promoting positive patient, employee and physician satisfaction. The manager will assist the unit director to meet or exceed the monthly operational budget. The Manager in collaboration with the appropriate clinical educator/resource will assure appropriate unit orientation and ongoing staff competency. Roles & Responsibilities: Administrative responsibilities based on the needs of the unit. Majority of the time will be spent in the clinical role. Staff development and orientation of new employees, competency evaluation, hiring, scheduling of staff to ensure appropriate coverage of center Orders and maintains PAR levels of supplies Supervises: RN, LVN, PCT, Unit Secretary/other titles specific to unit Reports to: Director of Emergency Services Required: RN Licensed in the State of Texas, minimum of three years experience as a charge nurse, coordinator or supervisor Prefer: BSN, Documented experience demonstrating leadership management, communication and interpersonal skills Understanding of KRONOS system, EMTALA laws and record maintenance associated with EMTALA Phone: 512-544-0142 E-mail: paula.driggers@stdavids.com Posting
