Job Details: Sleep Technologist

Description: Responsible for the set-up, administration, post procedure functions of all manner of sleep diagnostic procedures, patient and family education. Directly reports to the Director of Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine & Critical Care.

Education:
-Minimum of High School graduate or GED.
-Post secondary education in clinical neurodiagnostics helpful but not necessary.
-Technical education in polysomnography very helpful.
-Graduate of an approved School of Respiratory Care.
-Completion of a Sleep Lab training program.

Experience:
1 year of experience in all aspects of Polysomnography/EEG preferred, new program graduates will be considered.

Certifications / Licenses:
-Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists desired
-Certified and/or Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred
-Current BLS certification
-ACLS preferred
