Geisinger Health System, located in Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced Board Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist for this exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and program development in an established division. This position is located at the Janet Weis Children's Hopsital, located on our Geisinger Medical Center campus in Danville, PA.

About this opportunity:
-3 full-time physicians and 3 full-time diabetic nurse educators.
-Opportunities and support for new and innovative programs, including
an established referral population and electronic infrastructure well-suited
to pediatric diabetes management 'bundles'.
-Excellent resources exist for clinical and translational research within our
Geisinger Center for Health Research, the Weis Center for research, and in
collaboration with several local universities.
-Further practice growth opportunities with a service area child population of 500,000.
-Teaching responsibilities include medical students, pediatric, and med-peds
residents. Our academic appointments are at Temple University School of Medicine.

Janet Weis Children's Hospital

-Is a dedicated full-service tertiary and quaternary children's hospital (located on the campus of Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA) with a full-service hospitalist program, fully-staffed pediatric and neonatal ICUs, and a child life program.
