Currently, there is a position for Manager, Radiology for Community Practice Service Line (CPSL) Western Region Hub in State College, Pennsylvania, who is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the activities of Radiology Services for effective and efficient operation. This position will assure the operation of the Radiology Program complies with directives, policies, and objectives of the Geisinger Health System as established by the Board of Directors and delegated through the CPSL Chief Administrative Officer and the Vice President, System Radiology. Assures operation conforms to the governing documents and all the applicable laws and regulations in assignments. Assesses, treats, or cares for patients of all ages. This position reports directly to the Vice President, System Radiology with a matrix reporting relationship to the Radiology Director of the Western Region Hub and will be part of the senior leadership team of the Radiology Service line.

The location of this position will be Geisinger - Gray's Woods, in Patton Township, State College, PA. This facility will have state of the art equipment: 64 slice CT, digital mammography, CR X ray technology, and 1.5 Tesla MRI. It will be integrated into our system wide electronic image management system and is linked to our system wide electronic medical record.

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have knowledge and technical components of all areas of Radiology. Additional skills of the successful candidate are: excellent computer skills and excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills.

The candidate will have a college degree and also a graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology. The candidate must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Also, the candidate will have minimum of 5 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist and 3 years prior experience as a supervisor required with progressive responsibility supervising multiple radiology modalities.
