The Audiologist provides diagnostic, intervention, preventative, educational, counseling and referral services to in and outpatients, that suffer from hearing difficulties and works closely with another Audiologist, a Hearing Aid Practitioner and 2 ENT specialists. The Audiology equipment is state of the art including a new ENG/VNG + wireless ABR as well it offers diversity in clinical practice that is uncommon.

Qualifications for this position are acquired through the successful completion of a Masters Degree in Audiology. Within the STHA, the Audiologist must be a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA). The Salary starts at $37.47 per hour (approximately $73,067 per annum), plus a northern allowance of $2,500.00.
