APN - Acute Pain No Call No Weekends; Pvt Anes Pain Pract
New Jersey Anesthesia Associates is a large physician anesthesiology group whose Pain practice is located at Saint Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ. Our clinical Pain team consists of 4 fellowship trained physicians, Physician Assistants and Registered Nurse Managers.
We are currently in need of a APN for our Acute Pain program. The hours are Monday Friday 7:00 to 3:30. No call, no weekend coverage.
The APNs main role is to assist the attending pain physician on intake, triage and procedures.
Our APNs receive training from the Pain team. We have an immediate vacancy with anticipated employment commencing immediately following the credentialing process. Salary is very competitive as is the benefits program.
Requirements:
- Masters degree required.
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center required.
- Licensed by the New Jersey Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and certified by the NJBN as a clinical nurse specialist in advanced practice with prescription authority required.
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
