Responsible for delivering services through people, process and technology. Responsible for coordinating with user departments and manages the complex installation and use of a diversity of healthcare information systems products. Manages the scheduling, planning, and development of the implementation of user requests for application implementation and maintenance. Monitors work on multiple activities on a daily basis. Interacts regularly with users and Information Services senior management. Makes management presentations and submits reports as required. Maintains project lists and manages project priorities and schedules to ensure timely project completion. Assists in the development of policies, procedures, budgets and department planning. Performs other duties as needed.

Job Specifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field with computer course-work required. One-year graduate course work in Systems Management and formal supervisor training required. Relevant experience accepted in lieu of education. 10 years of applicable computer-related experience or equivalent required. 5 years of management/leadership experience preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Must have excellent analytic skills and ability to plan and organize technical work. Use spreadsheets and word processing, inputting data, typing, copying, speaking clearly and answering telephones. Excellent verbal and good writing skills; able to communicate effectively on the phone; ability to deal effectively with people and elicit support from other department areas and users; good planning, problem solving, analysis and research skills. Ability to analyze and interpret data, analyze and interpret processes and needs based on limited information; organize work; define problems and solutions; make recommendations and word processing. Technical skills with appropriate automation with Cerner.
