Requirements include:
– Master’s degree or Ph.D. in medical technology, biochemistry, physiology, chemistry, toxicology, clinical microbiology, parasitology, immunology, molecular biology, research psychology or a related field
– Between 21 and 42 years of age (may request a waiver)
– Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or the National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel (NCAMLP)
– Permanent U.S. residency
