Assistant Nurse Manager
Responsible for the day-to-day operations within the clinical setting to ensure delivery of quality service and optimal patient flow. Coordinate staffing needs and review coverage on a daily basis to meet patient care requirements. Assist with the clinical evaluation of team members, complete written clinical performance evaluations and conduct timely team member assessments. Participate in the hiring and evaluation of potential team members. Monitor compliance with certifications, licenses and required education for team members. Assist in the coordination and participate in the delivery of patient care ensuring compliance with physician orders and established policies, procedures and standards of practice.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing with a diploma or Associates degree in Nursing. Two years of experience as a RN in an acute care setting required. Must have a current professional license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida and maintain a current BLS certification.
