The incumbent has clinical and administrative responsibilities at all three campuses (Dallas, FWOPC, Bonham). Duties include but are not limited to the following: routine audiometric evaluation, interviews, history taking, immittance audiometry, cerumen management, ear impressions, hearing aid fitting and verification, ENG and ABR test procedures, hearing aid repair and maintenance, and family/patient counseling and education. Knowledge of Remote Order Entry System (ROES) for hearing aid purchases and repair is essential. Assists in managing the hearing aid program, maintains clinical supplies, and orders needed items. Participates in the quality assurance program and develops performance measures as well as monitors the daily, monthly, and quarterly workload data. Must be familiar with the workload documentation and data collection process utilized in patient care activities. Must be flexible to meet changes in schedule needs.
