The classroom counselor works as a member of the classroom team in conjunction with the teacher, providing clinical interventions for emotionally disturbed students.
Level of knowledge normally acquired through the completion of a bachelors degree, preferably in the field of psychology.
A minimum of one years experience in working with severely, emotionally/behaviorally disordered children and adolescents.
