Job Description: Summary of Essential Job Duties:
Clinical Nurse III assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The Clinical Nurse III consistently demonstrates professional skills and abilities, utilizes his/her knowledge base and proficient skills to direct and supervise the clinical performance of others in the role of collegial consultant and resource person. Demonstrates motivation and creativity and serves as a catalyst for effective changes within the Nursing at the unit, service line, and institutional levels. Applies clinical knowledge regarding standard pattern of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings. Assumes responsibility for patient advocacy, patient rights and meeting customer´s expectation.
Education and Work Experience Preferences: License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
Valid California Registered Nurse License. Eighteen months or more acute care experience required.
