Providence is looking for Clinical Supervisors to answer the call.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining standards of professional ethical practice in accordance with the regulatory agencies and the California Nurse Practice Act. In coordination with the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily workflow, staffing, orientation, training and development of employees. You will promote a collaborative team approach and act as a liaison for the unit. You will provide physicians, families, college affiliates and other departments with direction or assistance and will create an environment of safe patient care delivery. You will collaborate with all other hospital management personnel in absence of the Manager and will participate in interviewing, selecting, training, developing, performance evaluations and disciplining department staff.
Requirements:
California Registered Nurse license. BSN preferred.
Minimum three years unit specific experience in an acute hospital setting.
Requires general skills applicable to assigned unit. Certification in related nursing field required.
