Decision Support Senior Analyst

General Summary
The Decision Support Senior Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost accounting data as well as preparing and interpreting financial and statistical information. In addition to calculating, reconciling and validating cost information, this individual will perform in-depth analyses using advanced report writing skills, while ensuring the timely and accurate dissemination of information. Additionally, this position will assist in the database management of the decision support system as it relates to data integration and system maintenance. The Sr. Analyst will serve as a resource to both Financial and Clinical leadership to support organizational decision making and strategic planning activities.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job
1. Bachelor´s degree in finance or a closely related field, with 3-4 years of previous healthcare experience preferred.

2. Work requires strong analytical/problem solving skills, knowledge of database concepts, and ability to apply professional principles to effectively summarize the data. Proficiency in financial computer applications, including Access, Excel and PowerPoint, in addition to experience with Crystal Reporting.

3. Work requires verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively deal with all levels of management and staff, as well as strong organizational skills in order to prioritize workload and multi-task.
