Exciting opportunity to lead materials management and make a difference
Position Information
The Director of Materials Management will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for the overall operations of purchasing, contract management and the distribution of materials, equipment and supplies
Assess operations and make recommendations designed to reduce costs, update systems and improve the quality of care provided to maintain financial viability, as well as act as a liaison with other directors in regards to new products and equipment
Oversee contracts with vendors and GPO on maximum utilization of contracts and pricing and manage the capital acquisition process

165-bed, Joint Commission accredited, not-for-profit, community owned, full-service hospital and health center
More than 20 area healthcare clinics offering a wide array of medical specialties
The campus includes the hospital, an outpatient center, a helicopter landing pad for air ambulance service and two medical office plazas
Services offered include cancer care, cardiac services, emergency, orthopedic, neurology and women´s services

Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a bachelors degree with five years of progressive management experience in a hospital purchasing or materials management environment
