Environmental Services Supervisor needed in Texas!
Under the direction of the Environmental Services Director, the Supervisor has the following duties and responsibilities: supervises the planning of the departments employees in maintaining the upkeep of cleanliness, order and appearance of the medical center and its properties in both public and patient care areas; will ensure that established housekeeping care is provided to achieve the objectives of the medical center; maintains the departments organization structure, assigns responsibility and delegates authority, analyzes and evaluates housekeeping personnel, provides opportunity for growth and development of personnel, as well as provide means of continuing education for all personnel, complies with established standards as assigned by JCAHO, CDC, OSHA, and other federal agencies as may be required.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Ability: Three years experience required in the environmental field. Five years Housekeeping Supervisory experience preferred with excellent verbal and record keeping skills required.
Education/Experience: High School Graduate, certified in Housekeeping Management preferred, International Housekeepers Association. College courses in management preferred.
Physical Requirements: Physical Ability Category 3 (PA3). Work is performed in well-lighted, well ventilated, pleasant surrounding. May be exposed to weather while traveling on the medical campus. Extensive walking and standing.
