The EP Lab at Charlotte Regional is the most sophisticated EP lab in Southwest Florida. We are seeking to recruit an EP Specialist that will work under the direction of the Chief EP Tech who has at least 1-2 years experience in invasive electrophysiology with a focus on ablation therapy. Experience in AF ablation is highly desired. The individual must demonstrate competency in the operation of the Cardiolab monitoring system, familiarity of the Ensite mapping system and of EP stimulators. Knowledge of sterile scrub procedures used during pacemaker and ICD implants is required. The individual must demonstrate a commitment to continued self growth and maintenance of competency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited Allied Health program, (Radiology, Respiratory, Cardiovascular, but not limited to) with current FL licensure. Experience of 5 years or more may be accepted in lieu of graduation from an allied health program. Associates degree preferred. Registry eligible RCIS, RTR licensure preferred. Previous EP and cath experience required. BCLS must be acquired during first year. ACLS preferred.
