The Position
The Executive Director of Nursing Surgical Services will be responsible for the overall operation of pre operative, intra-operative and post operative services for 28 operative suites and five cardiovascular suites
Assess operations, make recommendations and lead change for improved quality of care, patient, staff and physician satisfaction
Partners with Director of Purchasing and Supply Management to coordinate scheduling, facilitate cost, vendor and supply management
Create a winning department by developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers, teambuilding, establishing performance expectations and holding staff accountable
Passion to develop leaders within the department

The Medical Center campus comprises nearly 80 acres and includes: 859-bed fully accredited teaching hospital, a Heart Hospital, Cancer Center, Surgery Center, Level I Trauma Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Center
