Faculty position in Drug Design and Development

Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy invites applications with a demonstrated track record in drug design and development, with a Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, or related fields.

The successful candidate will interface with basic scientists and clinicians at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, the Eppley Institute for Research in Cancer and Allied Diseases, organ transplant program, and neurosciences. The College of Pharmacy has a very active Center for Drug Delivery and Nanomedicine involving strong collaborations with many outstanding researchers at other national and international universities.

The ideal candidate should have current extramural funding, a demonstrated ability and commitment to teaching excellence at the professional and graduate levels, and a history of innovative, interdisciplinary, collaborative research interactions. However, young investigators with a strong potential to obtain research funding will also be considered. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience level, demonstrated record of achievement, and national and international prominence in his/her field.
