Grant Cooper & Associates has been retained by the Honor Society for Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau International to conduct the search for the Global Business Development Director.
With over 130,000 active members, the mission of the organization is to support the learning, knowledge, and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in health worldwide.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this new executive position will lead efforts for overall strategic direction and oversight of global growth initiatives for Sigma Theta Tau International, based in Indianapolis, IN including:
-Provide leadership and oversight for global initiatives.
-Develop and implement the strategic plan for global business development.
-Implement sound business practices, including budget development and oversight.
-Establish relationships and alliances with global leaders, organizations, universities, funders, etc.
Requirements include a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Business or related field. A Masters degree or professional certification in a related field is desired. Proven experience in accessing and evaluating global markets, as well as international strategic alliance building is essential. Bi-lingual communications skills desired.
