Responsibilities:
Provide high level project support in operational and financial improvement and EMR consulting engagements

  • Revenue cycle turnarounds
    *Analyze data
    *Assess office processes
    *Design and implement revenue cycle process improvement
    *Interview office staff and physicians
    *Prepare financial analyses
    *Prepare written reports
    *Assist in implementation/turnaround processes
  • EMR selection and implementation
    *Analyze practice needs
    *Identify and assess EMR vendors
    *Create selection process
    *Create implementation plans
    *Perform Clinical Workflow Analyses
    *Design and Implement Electronic Workflows
    *Facilitate and manage the implementation process with client and vendor
    Qualifications:
    BS or BA degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field. MBA a plus, but not required.
    Five or more years of consulting and/or medical group practice operations experience including billing and collections, AR management, contracting, credentialing, coding, practice management system performance and electronic medical record functionality and reporting
    Demonstrated success in identifying financial improvement opportunities in physician practices
    Ability to work with a team of consultants on projects requiring financial analysis, listening, oral and written communication
    Willing to learn and develop skills in support of the firms mission and the individuals career objectives
    Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
    Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    Proficiency with market leading EPM and HER applications
    Ability to travel extensively is required (up to 80%)
