We invite you to lead our team as the HIM Director in the Health Information Management Department. The Director will direct and manage the department´s daily operations to achieve goals and objectives established by upper management. In addition, the Candidate will be responsible for staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accordance with corporate, hospital, department and safety policies and procedures.
Qualified candidates must possess:
- Bachelors Degree in Medical Record Administration or AS degree in Medical Record Technology
- Graduate of an approved program in Medical Record Administration/Technology
- Successful completion of the National Registration/Accreditation examination given by the American Health Information Management Association
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of extensive experience in a supervisory or department director position
